Nigerian singer Burna Boy is set to feature alongside Colombian superstar Shakira on the official 2026 FIFA World Cup song titled “Dai Dai.”

The announcement means Burna Boy will become part of the global music project for the tournament, marking another appearance of a Nigerian artist on a World Cup soundtrack.

It comes after fellow Nigerian star Davido featured in the 2022 FIFA World Cup official song “Hayya Hayya (Better Together).”

The new track, “Dai Dai,” is expected to be officially released on Thursday, May 14.

Shakira confirmed the collaboration in a post, writing that the song was recorded at Maracanã Stadium and is the official music for the 2026 tournament.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be jointly hosted by Canada, Mexico, and the United States, running from June 11 to July 19.
