Former Big Brother Naija winner, Phyna, has said she does not see herself getting married or starting a family in the future.
She made the statement in a video that has been widely shared on social media, where she also spoke about her decision not to have biological children.
According to her, her choice is influenced by emotional experiences and several failed relationships, which have shaped how she now views marriage and motherhood.
Phyna explained that she currently feels more emotionally connected to animals and prefers to focus on caring for pets rather than becoming a mother.
She added that even though she is capable of having children, she does not personally want to go through motherhood at this stage of her life.
In her words, she said she would rather be a “cat and dog mom,” noting that many women begin to feel a stronger bond with animals as they grow older.
She also mentioned that people sometimes reach a point in life where past relationship experiences make them rethink settling down, adding that she believes she is currently in that phase.

“I’m very fertile, but I have no desire to have a biological child. Instead, I want to adopt dogs and cats. It feels like a woman’s love for animals really kicks in as she approaches 30 — especially when she refuses to settle for less.”
