Veteran Nigerian actor Don Richard has denied widespread reports claiming that he had passed away.
Reports had circulated on Thursday, April 23, 2026, suggesting that the actor died after a long battle with kidney-related illness. However, the news has now been confirmed as false.
Reacting through a post on his Instagram page on Friday, Don Richard assured fans that he is alive and in good health.
He thanked those who reached out with concern and support, while strongly rejecting the rumours.
“There is nothing wrong with me. I appreciate my fans for their love and concern. I am alive, hale and hearty. I am still here. Bloggers should stop spreading false news, God will judge,” he wrote.
The actor also reacted to the viral claims that he had died following complications from kidney failure.
Recall that in July 2025, Don Richard publicly appealed for financial assistance after revealing that he had sold his house and cars to fund treatment for kidney disease.
