Turkish club Fenerbahçe S.K. have stepped up their pursuit of Fulham defender Calvin Bassey ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
Reports say the Super Lig side have made the Nigeria international one of their top defensive targets as they look to strengthen their squad.
According to sources, Fenerbahçe presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım is expected to travel to England for discussions with Fulham F.C. officials over a possible deal.
He is also expected to meet with Bassey’s representatives in London during the visit.
Bassey joined Fulham from Ajax Amsterdam in 2023 in a deal worth around €22.5 million.
The 26-year-old defender still has one year left on his current contract, which could influence negotiations as interest in his services grows.
