Former Inter Milan and West Ham United striker Obinna Nsofor has advised Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen to consider leaving Galatasaray during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Nsofor said the Super Lig champions have already benefited greatly from Osimhen’s contributions and believes the striker has achieved enough success in Turkey.
Since joining Galatasaray from Napoli, Osimhen has helped the club secure back-to-back Turkish Super Lig titles, further boosting his reputation as one of Europe’s top forwards.
The Nigerian striker has also been linked with major European clubs such as Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, and Manchester United.
Speaking on Brila FM, Nsofor stated that if Osimhen wants to reach the highest level in world football, he should move to a club competing seriously in the UEFA Champions League.
He added that while Galatasaray is a respected club, they are not currently among the strongest favourites to win the Champions League, which should be a key factor in Osimhen’s next career decision.
