Abia Angels goalkeeper Fatima Oloko has shared her confidence ahead of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Super Six playoffs, saying the team is fully prepared to compete strongly in the tournament.

The Umuahia-based side secured qualification for the competition from NWFL Conference B alongside Robo Queens and Nasarawa Amazons after an impressive regular season campaign.

From Conference A, Rivers Angels, Edo Queens, and current champions Bayelsa Queens also booked their places in the highly anticipated playoff tournament.

Speaking after the end of the regular season, Oloko explained that Abia Angels are determined to give everything on the pitch despite not being considered one of the favourites before the season began.

According to the goalkeeper, the players are focused on approaching every match with seriousness, commitment, and a winning mentality.

She stated that the team plans to treat every game like a final and will continue fighting for positive results throughout the competition.
