The Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice John Terhemba Tsoho, has approved fresh postings for judges across different divisions of the court nationwide.
The new postings followed the recent appointment of 14 judges, as well as the reassignment of three existing judges within the Federal High Court system.
In a directive issued by the Chief Judge, all affected judges are expected to resume at their new duty stations on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
According to a statement released on Friday by the Court’s Director of Information, Dr Catherine Oby Christopher, Justice Hassan Dikko has been assigned to the Gusau Division in Zamfara State.
Justices Salim Olasupo Ibrahim and Onah Chigozie Sergius will remain in Abuja, while Justice Sulaiman Amida Hassan has been posted to Osogbo in Osun State.
Other postings include Justice Muhammad Barau Saidu to Minna in Niger State, Justice Igboko Chinelo Conchita to Akure in Ondo State, Justice Onuegbu Chioma Angela to Yenagoa in Bayelsa State, Justice Galumje Edingah to Abakaliki in Ebonyi State, and Justice Ibrahim Vera Eneabo to Gombe in Gombe State.
Justice Abubakar Musa Usman was reassigned to Ado-Ekiti in Ekiti State, while Justice Salihu Aisha Yunusa will serve in Damaturu, Yobe State.
Justice Ikpeme Joy Bassey has been posted to Uyo in Akwa Ibom State, and Justice Shehu Umaru Adamu to Maiduguri in Borno State.
Others include Justice Mohammed Ibrahim Buba to Dutse in Jigawa State, Justice Binjin-Eigegbe Nendelmum Judith to Lokoja in Kogi State, and Justices Usoro Kuyik Uduak and Nwoye Osinachi Donatus to the Lagos Division.
It would be recalled that the appointment of the 14 new judges was approved to help the court handle an expected rise in cases, especially those linked to the 2027 general elections.
The appointments followed recommendations from the National Judicial Council (NJC) after a thorough screening process covering qualifications, experience, and conduct.
After their appointment, the new judges were first attached to senior judges of the court for practical training and mentorship before their full deployment.
