Afrobeats singer Adekunle Gold has shared that his family is full of musical talent, saying his young daughter is already showing early signs that she may grow up to become a musician.

He explained that both he and his wife, fellow singer Simi, are involved in music, and their daughter, Adejare Kosoko, appears to be developing a similar interest at just five years old.

In a recent episode of the Great Day 20 Podcast, Adekunle Gold said he has noticed how much his daughter enjoys music and how she often responds to sounds and melodies, suggesting she may follow in their footsteps in the future.

He said, “It is interesting being married to another great singer-songwriter, and now our daughter is already showing signs that she might also go into music.”

During the same interview, the singer also addressed rumours circulating online that he and Simi had welcomed twins.

He dismissed the claims, saying the reports were false and created on social media.

According to him, the couple only welcomed a baby boy, not twins, as widely speculated online.

Adekunle Gold and Simi got married in a private ceremony in January 2019. Their first child, Adejare, was born in May 2020.
