Liverpool have announced a major change to their backroom staff with three members of the coaching team set to leave the club.

The departing coaches are Sipke Hulshoff, Ruben Peeters and Giovanni van Bronckhorst, all of whom played important roles within the club’s technical setup.

Hulshoff served as Liverpool’s assistant coach and was heavily involved in the team’s training and performance programmes. Peeters joined the Reds in 2024 as part of the coaching staff brought in following Arne Slot’s appointment as manager.

Former Netherlands international Giovanni van Bronckhorst also arrived at Anfield last summer, taking up a position within Slot’s coaching team and contributing his vast experience to the squad.

Their exits come after the recent departure of Slot, whose spell as Liverpool manager came to an end last month. The coaching staff members who worked closely with him are now also moving on from the club.

In a statement, Liverpool thanked the trio for their dedication and service, acknowledging their contributions during their time at Anfield.

The club also wished Hulshoff, Peeters and Van Bronckhorst success in the next stage of their careers as Liverpool prepares for a new chapter both on and off the pitch.
