Paris Saint-Germain have successfully defended their UEFA Champions League title after defeating Arsenal F.C. in a dramatic penalty shootout.

The final ended 1–1 after 120 minutes of intense football, with both teams giving everything in a tightly contested match.

Kai Havertz gave Arsenal an early lead after making a sharp run and finishing calmly to put the Gunners ahead.

Arsenal F.C. held their advantage for long periods, but PSG eventually got back into the game after winning a penalty when Cristhian Mosquera brought down Khvicha Kvaratskhelia inside the box.

Ousmane Dembélé converted from the spot, sending David Raya the wrong way to level the score.

With no winner after extra time, the match went to penalties, where Arsenal suffered heartbreak as Eberechi Eze and Gabriel Magalhães missed their spot-kicks.

PSG kept their composure to seal victory and make history, becoming one of the first clubs in the modern Champions League era to win the trophy back-to-back.
