Former Turkish referee Ahmet Çakar has advised Galatasaray to consider selling their star striker Victor Osimhen if a big offer of around €130 million arrives.
Çakar believes the Turkish champions would make a huge profit, noting that the club signed the Nigerian striker from Napoli for about €75 million.
Osimhen has recently been linked with a possible summer exit from Galatasaray, with top European clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester United, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid all reportedly interested.
However, the 27-year-old forward recently dismissed rumours about leaving the Turkish side this summer.
Speaking on Libero TV’s YouTube channel, as reported by Habersarikirmizi, Çakar said every footballer has a price and can be sold if the offer is right.
He explained that if Galatasaray receives €130 million for Osimhen, the club should not hesitate to accept it.
According to him, even selling the striker for €90–100 million would not be ideal compared to a much higher offer.
He added that the club would still benefit, as they could enjoy Osimhen’s services for a period after securing his transfer rights before eventually making a profit from the sale.
