A second disturbing video has surfaced showing victims of the recent mass abduction in Oriire Local Government Area, with a nursing mother seen in tears as she begs authorities for urgent rescue of her baby and other kidnapped victims.
In the video, the woman, identified as a staff member of First Baptist Church School in Ogbomosho, appeared emotionally distressed as she called on the Federal Government, the Oyo State Government, and President Bola Tinubu to act quickly and secure their release.
Holding her baby tightly, she explained that armed attackers stormed the school, abducting both teachers and pupils during the violent raid.
She introduced herself as Temitope from Ibadan and pleaded for immediate help, saying the attackers had taken staff and students away during the incident. Her voice broke as she appealed repeatedly for government intervention, stressing that lives were in danger.
The emotional footage comes shortly after another video from Mrs Rachael Alamu, the principal of Community High School, Esiele, who also made a desperate appeal after the abduction of seven teachers and 39 pupils last Friday.
In her own message, she urged the Federal Government, Governor Seyi Makinde, and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to step in and help rescue the kidnapped victims safely.
Meanwhile, security agencies have confirmed that rescue operations are still ongoing, with police and military teams combing forest areas around the Old Oyo National Park in search of the abductors.
Earlier reports also revealed that during the initial attack, the assistant headmaster, Joel Adesiyan, was shot dead, while several motorcycles belonging to staff were stolen as the attackers fled the scene.
