Nigerian actress Peggy Ovire has accused her husband, Frederick Leonard, of having an affair with a married woman.
In a series of posts shared on her Instagram Stories, Ovire claimed that Leonard was involved with a woman who is not only married but also a mother of four. She also posted a video allegedly showing Leonard holding hands with the woman, describing both of them in strong words.
According to her, the actor initially denied the claims and accused her of lying until she later presented what she described as evidence of the alleged affair.
Ovire also said the situation has now extended into legal proceedings, adding that divorce processes have already begun. She accused Leonard of failing to show up in court even after initiating the separation.
She called on him to appear at the next court hearing scheduled for June 23, saying she wants the marriage formally ended.
In her words, she insisted that the matter should be concluded properly in court so both parties can move on with their lives.
The actress also reshared an old post from February where she asked followers what they would do if they discovered their partner was secretly involved with a married woman with children, a message many believe reflects her current situation.
As of the time of reporting, Frederick Leonard has not publicly responded to the allegations.
The couple first went public in 2022 when Leonard introduced Ovire as his partner on her birthday, and they reportedly got married shortly after.
