The Lagos Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has again taken social media influencer and self-acclaimed relationship expert, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO, to court over a fresh allegation of fraud involving N69.1 million.
She was brought before Justice R. A. Oshodi of the Special Offences Court in Ikeja, Lagos, on Tuesday. The new case includes two charges linked to obtaining money under false pretence and stealing, with the total sum involved put at N69,150,000.
When the case was called, the EFCC lawyer, C. C. Okezie, asked the court to go ahead with the arraignment, saying the defendant had already been properly served with the charges.
But Blessing CEO’s lawyer, Nkama Nneka, told the court that the charges had only just been served recently and raised concerns about the timing.
After listening to both sides, Justice Oshodi ruled that the arraignment should proceed as required by law. The charges were then officially read to the defendant in court.
This is not the first time Blessing CEO has faced the anti-graft agency. She was earlier arraigned by the EFCC on 15 May 2026 over an alleged N36 million fraud case.
