Nigerian singer Magixx has shared his views on financial responsibilities in relationships, saying he does not support the idea of sharing bills equally between partners.
The music star stated that men should be the ones to take full responsibility for expenses in both dating and marriage.
He made this known during a recent interview with Cool FM Lagos, where he explained that his opinion remains the same even in situations where a woman is the one who initiates the relationship.
According to the “Love Don’t Cost A Dime” singer, he does not believe in a 50/50 arrangement.
“I don’t believe in 50/50. I believe a man should pay the bills even if the woman is the one who asked him out,” he said.
However, Magixx admitted that his perspective might have been different if he were not financially stable, suggesting that personal experience and financial status could influence how people view such issues.
