Bandits have reportedly attacked several rural communities on the western outskirts of Musawa town in Musawa Local Government Area, forcing residents to abandon their homes and flee for safety.

The attackers were also said to have rustled a large number of cattle during the raid, adding to the losses suffered by the affected communities.

According to a post shared on X by northern security analyst Bakatsine, the incident has left many families, especially women and children, stranded in Musawa town without access to shelter, food, or basic necessities.

He noted that the situation has been made worse by ongoing rainfall, which has further increased the hardship faced by displaced residents.

In his appeal, he called for urgent humanitarian support to assist the victims and urged security agencies to step up operations to protect communities across Musawa LGA and nearby areas.

He also expressed hope that lasting peace and improved security would soon return to the affected communities and other troubled parts of Nigeria.
