Gary Neville, former Manchester United defender, has given his opinion ahead of the UEFA Champions League semi-final between Arsenal and Atletico Madrid.
The first leg will be played in Madrid on Wednesday night, where Atletico Madrid will host Arsenal FC in a key European clash.
Neville said he is not convinced that Mikel Arteta’s side will be able to overcome Diego Simeone’s team in the last-four stage of the competition.
Speaking on The Gary Neville Podcast, he explained that while Arsenal still have a strong chance of winning the Premier League, the Champions League may be a tougher challenge for them.
He noted that Arsenal only have a few league games left and could focus on securing the domestic title, but he doubts they will go all the way in Europe this season.
According to him, the Premier League remains more realistic for Arsenal, even though they are performing well in both competitions.
