Players of Paris Saint-Germain are set to earn a massive €1 million bonus each if they succeed in winning the UEFA Champions League again, matching the reward they received last season.
The French champions will face Arsenal F.C. in the final scheduled for Saturday in Budapest, in what is expected to be a highly competitive clash.
According to reports, PSG have put in place a strong financial incentive to push the team to retain the trophy they lifted last year.
Key players such as captain Marquinhos, Achraf Hakimi, Ousmane Dembélé, and Vitinha are said to have been involved in discussions with the club over the performance bonuses.
Ahead of the final, PSG coach Luis Enrique expressed confidence in his squad, saying the team has consistently shown their strength throughout the competition.
He noted that PSG have dominated most of their matches on the road to the final and deserve to be in another historic European final.
