Nigerian rapper and singer Ice Prince has opened up about his past lifestyle, revealing that his habit of smoking cannabis was extremely costly and affected him financially.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Black Box Podcast, the Aboki hitmaker said that between 2020 and 2026, he spent about N340 million on weed from just one main supplier.
He explained that this amount only covers one dealer and does not include his other sources in places like Abuja, Jos, Ghana, and London.
Ice Prince said the supplier he mentioned was based close to him in Lagos, making access easy and spending continuous over the years.
According to him, the total spending opened his eyes to how much money he was losing, which later contributed to his decision to quit smoking and alcohol.
The rapper added that his lifestyle change was part of a wider personal transformation, including fitness, weight loss, and self-discovery.
He also revealed that he has been celibate for some time as part of his effort to focus more on personal growth and discipline.
