The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has announced that it will transport the final group of pilgrims to Makkah on Friday after they completed the required four-day stay in Madinah.
According to a statement released in Madinah by the Chief Press Secretary, Ibraheem Musa, the smooth movement of pilgrims was made possible through the strong support of Uba Sani.
The Director of Operations of the agency, Abubakar Usman Yusuf, explained that the governor’s backing allowed early preparations for this year’s Hajj exercise, including weekly training and orientation sessions for intending pilgrims before their departure from Nigeria.
He said the training helped pilgrims understand the rules of Saudi Arabia and the proper conduct expected during the holy pilgrimage, which made the entire process in Madinah smooth and well-organised.
According to him, the strong preparation helped reduce challenges, as Kaduna pilgrims were able to carry out their religious activities with little or no difficulty.
He also praised the Kaduna State Hajj Delegation Committee, led by Abubakar Mustapha, for providing steady guidance and support throughout the pilgrims’ stay in Madinah.
The statement further noted that the delegation visited a pilgrim, Malam Sani Garba, who was briefly hospitalised at Almiqati General Hospital in Madinah, along with officials of the pilgrims welfare agency.
It added that the pilgrim has since recovered, been discharged from the hospital, and has already joined others on their journey to Makkah.
