Nigerian music star Zinoleesky has officially left Marlian Music, the record label owned by Naira Marley, marking the start of a new phase in his career.
The singer reportedly exited the label on Thursday, April 23, 2026, after spending about seven years under the Marlian Music imprint.
His departure is said to follow reported disagreements within the camp, although details of the situation have not been fully confirmed.
Shortly after leaving, Zinoleesky introduced his own record label, Zinodict Music, on Friday. The announcement came alongside the release of his first independent single titled “Nostalgia,” which he shared on his social media platforms.
Checks also show that the singer has updated his social media biography to reflect his new label identity, signaling the official start of his independent journey.
Recall that rumours of tension between Zinoleesky and Marlian Music boss Naira Marley first surfaced in November 2025. At the time, the singer dismissed the claims and publicly reaffirmed his loyalty to the label.
With this latest move, Zinoleesky now begins a new chapter as an independent artiste under his own imprint.
