Miriam Ogbonna Sparks Debate With “No Money, No Love” Comment

Nollywood actress Miriam Ogbonna has stirred reactions online after sharing her opinion about love and financial support in relationships.

The film star said she does not fully believe a man truly loves her unless he shows it with money. According to her, words of love are not enough without financial proof.

Miriam explained that giving money to someone you are interested in is a real way of showing affection, especially because earning money is not easy.

Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) account, she wrote that she would never accept that a man likes or loves her unless he gives her money.

She added that when a man spends his hard-earned money on her, it is a clear sign of genuine love and care.

Her statement reads in part: “If you don’t give me money, I will never ever agree that you like or love me. You have to give me money because money is hard to come by. If you give me the money you worked for, then I will know you truly love me.”

The comment has since sparked mixed reactions on social media, with many users disagreeing with her views while others debated the role of money in modern relationships.
