Controversial relationship coach and social media personality Blessing CEO has reacted after being remanded at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre following her latest court appearance.
The development came just hours after she was granted bail of N10 million on Tuesday in a separate case involving an alleged N69.1 million tenancy fraud. On Wednesday, she was re-arraigned over another case in which she is accused of obtaining N13 million from members of the public under false pretences.
Taking to Instagram shortly after the court proceedings, Blessing CEO disclosed that she had been sent to Kirikiri prison despite already spending 26 days in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The media personality maintained her innocence, stating that she pleaded not guilty to all the charges brought against her.
In her post, she said she remained in good spirits and was prepared to stay at the correctional facility until the conditions of her bail are met.
Blessing also revealed that this is not her first experience in prison. According to her, she was previously detained in 2022 over allegations linked to defamation and cyberbullying.
Speaking about her latest remand, she jokingly suggested that her repeated encounters with the correctional system might qualify her to run for the country’s highest political office someday.
Her comments have since sparked reactions across social media, with supporters and critics sharing different views on the ongoing legal battles involving the popular relationship expert.
