Adebayo Abayomi is set to become a free agent this summer after his contract with Nigeria Premier Football League side Shooting Stars comes to an end.

The midfielder’s deal with the Ibadan-based club will officially expire at the close of the 2025–26 NPFL season, meaning he will be free to join any club of his choice.

Last season, Abayomi had limited playing time, making just 11 appearances for the Oluyole Warriors.

Before joining Shooting Stars, he featured for Remo Stars, where he built part of his career in the Nigerian league.

The experienced midfielder has also had spells abroad in Sweden, playing for IK Gauthiod and IK Oddevold.

Now 32, Abayomi is expected to decide on his next move in the coming weeks as he prepares for the next stage of his career.
