Nigeria will face Portugal on Wednesday night in an international friendly as both teams continue their build-up to the 2026 World Cup.
For the Super Eagles, this match comes just days after another tough test against a European side. Eric Chelle’s team played out an exciting 2–2 draw with Poland last week, a game they were close to winning before conceding a late equaliser.
Portugal, expected to be led by their captain Cristiano Ronaldo, will also use the match as part of their preparations for the upcoming World Cup.
The game will be played at the Estádio Dr. Magalhães Pessoa and is scheduled to kick off at 8:45pm Nigerian time.
