Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Kola, has said he never planned to date Dede despite their close relationship during the show.
He made this known during the second episode of the BBNaija reunion aired on Tuesday night, where he addressed their past connection.
According to Kola, people misunderstood his intentions with Dede, insisting that he never had plans of turning their friendship into a romance, even though he openly pursued her in the house.
“I never said I wanted to date Dede,” he said.
His close friend, Bright Morgan, also shared his own view, revealing that he had advised Kola to step back from the situation.
“I told Kola to leave Dede, babe wey like you will not stress you,” Morgan said.
On her part, Dede explained that things changed between them after Kola referred to her as “the other person” during an interview, which made their friendship colder outside the house.
She said Kola reached out after the show and acted like they were still on good terms, but behaved differently in public.
“We met at Tacha’s birthday party and he followed me to the bathroom, and we spoke. Kola invited me to his house, and he spoke about the kiss at Biggie’s house,” she said.
However, when the reunion host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, asked Kola about the claim, he denied ever inviting her to his house.
“I never invited Dede to my house,” he responded.
