The national leadership of Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN) has paid a strategic visit to Cross River State Governor, Senator Bassey Otu, where he was officially unveiled as the National Patron of the group.

The delegation, led by veteran Nollywood actor and RTIFN Deputy Director-General, Zack Orji, arrived in Calabar to launch a series of activities aimed at promoting community development and supporting President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

The visit featured plans for the inauguration of the organisation’s Cross River State executive council, a large-scale solidarity gathering in support of President Tinubu, and a free medical outreach designed to provide healthcare services to residents.

During a meeting at the Government House, the National Secretary of RTIFN, Arc. Arome Felix, formally presented Governor Otu’s appointment letter and praised his leadership style and achievements in the state.

According to Felix, the organisation believes Governor Otu has demonstrated strong grassroots leadership and delivered visible development projects that continue to improve the lives of residents.

He also assured the governor that RTIFN members across the country would continue to support his political aspirations and development agenda.

In his response, Governor Otu thanked the organisation for the recognition and expressed appreciation for its efforts in promoting national growth and unity.

The governor noted that he shares the vision behind President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and reaffirmed his commitment to initiatives aimed at advancing economic growth and improving the welfare of Nigerians.

He also pledged to support RTIFN’s activities within Cross River State and help the group achieve its objectives.

The delegation was welcomed by Deputy Governor Peter Odey, who commended the organisation for its role in encouraging civic engagement and national development.

Earlier, the RTIFN team was received at the Margaret Ekpo International Airport by the Cross River State Coordinator, Anjor Obande.

She disclosed that the state chapter has already begun an extensive membership registration campaign and is mobilising supporters across various communities.

Obande added that preparations have been completed for the inauguration of the state executive council and other activities lined up during the visit.

The programme is expected to conclude with the official swearing-in of state executives, a public rally highlighting the policies of President Tinubu’s administration, and a medical outreach targeting vulnerable residents in different communities.

Several national and regional officials of the organisation attended the event, including members of the women’s wing, state coordinators, directors and other stakeholders drawn from different parts of the country.
