The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has called on the Federal Government to take stronger steps to improve the living conditions of Nigerians and address the growing challenges facing the country.

The appeal was made by the party’s National Chairman, David Mark, during the ADC National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held in Abuja.

Speaking at the gathering, Mark stressed the need for urgent action to combat insecurity, saying the safety of citizens must remain a top priority for governments at every level.

He noted that meaningful progress cannot be achieved without peace and stability, urging authorities to strengthen efforts aimed at protecting lives and property across the country.

The former Senate President also used the occasion to encourage party members and leaders nationwide to remain united and focused on the ADC’s mission of building a better and more inclusive Nigeria.

According to him, political leaders must put the interests of the people and the party above personal ambitions if they hope to achieve lasting success.

Mark warned against actions capable of creating division within the party, emphasizing that unity and discipline are essential for growth and national development.

He stated that successful political organisations are built on strong values, credible institutions, and a commitment to collective goals rather than individual interests.

The ADC chairman further urged members to work together in advancing the party’s vision while continuing to advocate policies that can reduce hardship and improve the quality of life for ordinary Nigerians.
