The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates sitting for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now print their original result slips within two hours on Wednesday.
This was made known in a statement issued in Abuja by JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, Dr Fabian Benjamin.
According to him, the original result slip includes important details such as candidates’ passport photographs, national performance ranking, and several security features that make it valid for official use.
He explained that the document is a key requirement for post-UTME screening and is also needed during admission processes in universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education across the country.
Dr Benjamin advised candidates to access and print their result slips using any internet-enabled device or by visiting an accredited cybercafé.
He also encouraged candidates to carefully check all information on the slip immediately after printing to ensure there are no errors.
Candidates were further advised to keep multiple copies of the document, as it may be required at different stages of the admission process.
JAMB added that the release is part of its efforts to make the admission process smoother and more transparent for all candidates.
