Residents of Bwari Area Council have been assured of better and more inclusive representation in the House of Representatives ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The promise was made by a House of Representatives aspirant for the AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency seat, Sarah Ivie Adidi, during a weekend visit to the secretariat of the All Progressives Congress, where she officially declared her ambition and also congratulated newly elected party executives.
She was received by the party chairman, the women leader, and other executives, who welcomed her and assured her of support while calling for unity and teamwork within the party.
During her visit, Adidi said her decision to engage party leaders and supporters in Bwari is driven by a desire to promote grassroots participation and inclusive leadership.
She explained that stronger collaboration is needed to address the key development challenges facing the constituency and improve living conditions for residents.
She further assured that if elected, she would work closely with area council officials, community leaders, and relevant government agencies to promote development and deliver meaningful projects to the people.
According to her, Bwari Area Council plays an important role in the political and electoral structure of the FCT, and its importance in governance and decision-making cannot be ignored.
Adidi also outlined her plan for the constituency, saying her focus would be on infrastructure development, better education, youth empowerment, skills training, and improved healthcare services.
She promised to ensure that the concerns of residents are properly represented at the national level and that their needs receive attention.
The Chairman of the APC in Bwari Area Council, Joshua Ishaku Musa, said the party would support her political ambition and work towards her success in the coming elections.
