Former Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Solomon Dalung, has strongly criticised the administration of President Bola Tinubu, describing the last three years as a period of hardship and poor leadership.
Dalung made the remarks during an interview on News Central Television on Friday while reacting to the celebration of the third anniversary of the Tinubu administration by the All Progressives Congress.
According to the former minister, many Nigerians are struggling with rising hunger, poverty, and worsening economic conditions since the current administration came into office.
He argued that citizens are facing one of the toughest periods in the country’s history, with many families finding it difficult to cope with the high cost of living.
Dalung claimed that instead of improvement, the country has witnessed increasing hardship and frustration among ordinary Nigerians over the past three years.
He further stated that the administration’s anniversary celebrations do not reflect the reality faced by millions of citizens dealing with inflation, unemployment, and economic pressure.
The former minister maintained that Nigerians expected better governance and stronger economic policies, but said many people now feel disappointed with the current situation in the country.
