‘Secular Music Isn’t Evil’ – ID Cabasa Speaks Out

Veteran Nigerian music producer and record executive, ID Cabasa, has encouraged Christian creatives not to avoid the secular music industry because of the belief that it is not godly.

The Coded Tunes boss described such claims as false and misleading, saying they are often used to discourage Christians from exploring opportunities in mainstream music.

According to him, the idea that the secular music space belongs to the devil is not true.

Sharing his thoughts on social media, Cabasa explained that while evil exists in the world, it does not mean the entire industry is controlled by negative forces. He noted that the earth and everything in it belongs to God, not the devil.

He urged Christian creatives to step confidently into the secular music scene and make a positive impact, rather than staying away due to fear or wrong beliefs.

Cabasa also pointed out that the real problem is not the presence of evil, but the lack of enough positive influence.

He encouraged creatives to use their talent and values to bring light into the industry, adding that good influence is stronger than negativity when properly expressed.
