
Veteran Nigerian filmmaker and comedian Okiki Adesina, popularly known as Janmole, has sadly passed away.
Reports say the entertainer died following a serious car crash on Monday.
The news was confirmed on Tuesday by filmmaker and President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Bolaji Amusan, who shared the sad announcement on his Instagram page.
In his tribute, Mr Latin expressed deep sorrow over the loss of his colleague, praying for peace for the deceased and strength for his family and loved ones to cope with the tragedy.
He wrote: “May the soul of our departed colleague, Adesina Okiki Janmole, who tragically lost his life in an accident, rest in perfect peace. May God grant his family, friends, and colleagues the strength to bear this irreparable loss. He will be greatly missed.”
The late actor’s death comes about four years after he survived a fire incident along the Lagos–Ibadan expressway, making the latest tragedy even more heartbreaking for fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry.
