Mikel Arteta has declared that Arsenal F.C. are fully determined to defeat Paris Saint-Germain and claim the UEFA Champions League title.
Both clubs are set to clash in Budapest on Saturday evening in what is expected to be one of the biggest matches of the season.
Arsenal are chasing their first-ever Champions League trophy, while PSG are aiming to successfully defend the title they won last season.
Speaking ahead of the final, Arteta admitted his side will face a very difficult challenge against the French champions but insisted his players are mentally prepared for the battle.
The Arsenal manager acknowledged PSG’s status as defending champions, saying they deserved their place at the top after last season’s success.
However, Arteta stressed that Arsenal are travelling with one clear objective — to take the trophy away from the Ligue 1 giants.
He also revealed that his ambition for the club continues to grow, adding that the team has the quality and confidence needed to achieve even greater success.
According to him, the players believe strongly in their ability to win the final and make history for the club.
