Former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi, and former Kano State governor, Rabi’u Kwankwaso, have been seen at the office of the Nigerian Democratic Congress in Abuja, alongside Senator Victor Umeh.
Sources indicate that the politicians are expected to formally announce their move into the party during the visit.
This development comes shortly after Peter Obi confirmed his resignation from the African Democratic Congress, citing ongoing internal disagreements within the party.
Although Rabi’u Kwankwaso has not yet publicly confirmed his exit from the ADC, reports suggest he is politically aligned with Obi as discussions continue around a possible joint political arrangement between the two leaders.
